Stephen Hahn is the Founding Partner of Odyssey Partners Consulting, a technology advisory firm he launched in 2017 to give mid-market companies real CIO leadership without the cost of a full-time hire. For organizations weighing whether they need a full-time CIO or a fractional advisor, Stephen serves as the strategic partner who helps them answer that question and act on it. He works with companies at a specific inflection point: growth has accelerated, but IT governance, organizational design, and architecture haven’t kept pace. Closing that gap is where his work begins.

His approach is pragmatic. The companies Stephen works with typically don’t realize how much operational efficiency and growth capacity is locked inside their current IT environment. His engagements surface those opportunities and build the roadmap to capture them, with a focus on AI strategy, AI governance, IT health assessments, ERP and Microsoft 365 modernization, organizational design, and board-level technology roadmaps. He has applied this work across manufacturing, construction, nonprofit healthcare, financial services, and behavioral health, most often in privately held companies where IT maturity has simply never had time to catch up with the business.

Stephen translates technology decisions into business and financial terms a CFO and board can act on, and stays accountable to results through implementation. With more than 25 years of technology leadership and prior senior roles at Michelman, CSC, Standard Register, and Ernst & Young, he brings the methodology grounding that makes technology decisions defensible at the executive level. Stephen holds an MBA in MIS and International Business from the University of Kentucky. He is based in Cincinnati, Ohio and works with mid-market organizations nationwide.
